HITMEN 4-0 AT NATIONAL SOFTBALL

  The Galway Hitmen have a perfect 4-0 record at the Canadian men’s fast pitch softball championships. They picked up a 6-1 win over Saskatchewan Pretty boys and in the night cap downed Saskatchewan Rustlers 11-3. Today the Hitmen face Saskatchewan Angels at one o clock and Newfoundland Bombers at six.

MINOR BASEBALL CHAMPIONS

Grand Falls Windsor won the Provincial Girls under 14 baseball championship this weekend. They defeated St. John’s 8-1 in the championship game.
