Cam Fergus of the first place Grand Falls Windsor Cataracts was a double award winner as the Central West Senior Hockey League announced its regular season award winners Sunday. ICE CAPS IN ACTION TUESDAY

The Ice Caps, who are 11th in the Eastern Conference with a (19-18-7-3) record go against Syracuse Crunch who are ( 19-19-8-1) in the Eastern Conference tied for 12th spot with Lehi Valley Phantoms. The Ice Caps coming off two weekend losses to Utica Comets. Game time is 7:30 Tuesday at Mile One.

    Tyler Planetta scored two goals leading the St. John’s Maple Leafs to a 7-2 decision over St. John’s Privateers in Major Midget Hockey League play. Tim Noble, Danny Rice, Aaron Greenham, James Locke and Kyle McGrath added singles. Max French and Patty Pilon replied for the Privateers
