Blair Bursey of the Gander Golf Club recorded an even par-105 over 27 holes to win the Hamilton Golf & Country Club Men’s Amateur Invitational. Bursey won the event by one stroke over Garrett Rank of Elmira and Gajan Sivabalasingham of Stouffville who finished tied for 2nd with a 1 over-106.
Queen Elizabeth of Foxtrap won the St. John’s Senior High School boys baseball tournament this weekend. They defeated Ascention Collegiate 6-1 in the gold medal game. Meanwhile Holy Heart claimed the bronze medal with a 5-3 decision over Gonzaga.
