C-B-R Renegades edge Celtics 6-5 in overtime in Junior hockey play Sunday. Mitch King  scored  his second goal of the game 56 seconds into the overtime session.  Matt Porter also added two goals for the winners. Lucas Lush and Luke Tilley had singles.

Alex Snow sniped two goals for the Celtics.  Curtis Kavanagh, Graham Oldford, Stephen Brown with the singles for Celtics.

Trinity Placentia Flyers get five goals from five different players and beat Mount Pearl Blades 5-2.

Curtis March, Cody Rice, Case Warren, Connor Stevens, and Colin Jackson scored the goals for the Flyers.

Grant Thompson and Aaron Moore replied for the Blades.

S A T U R D A Y 

Tyler Tobins power play goal at 9:36 of the third period proved to be the winner as the St. John’s Caps edged the Roebothan McKay and Marshall Avalon Capitals 3-2 in junior play Saturday. Jason Michaud scored twice for the Caps.

Andrew Paul and Brett Vokey scored the Capitals markers.

C-B-R Renegades get by Southern Shore Breakers 4-3 in a game at Kelligrews. Mitch King leads the way with two goals and the singles were scored by Ryan Day and Nick David. Jarrod Avery, Peter Kavanagh and Shamus Sloan were the goal scorers for the Shore. Kings second goal of the game turned out to be the winner at 11:56 of the third period.

C-B-N Junior Stars skate to a 6-2 win over the Trinity Placentia Flyers

Ryan Dawson netted two goals for the winners. Cody Batten, Riley Deering, Michael Mason and Mitchell Lewis had singles. Colin Jackson and Jordan Richards replied for the Flyers

Junior Celtics were 4-1 winners over Southern Shore Breakers

Graham Oldford scored twice for the winners with teammates Curtis March and Stephen Brown adding singles.
