The St. John’s Junior Hockey League has finished its regular season and it’s now onto the playoffs. The matchups are Mount Pearl against Northeast; CBR meets Trinity Placentia. Southern Shore meet Roebothan McKay and Marshall Avalon Capitals and CBN face St John’s Caps.
A.J.Doyle was the hero for Southern Shore Breakers in St. John’s Junior Hockey League play Friday night. Doyle scored the winning goal at 3:15 of overtime as the Breakers edged St. John’s 7-6. Stephen Mallard forced the game into the extra session with his goal with 1:18 left in the third period.
