Carl Englishled the Edge with 26 points, five rebounds, and five assists in the loss.
Charles Hinkle’s finished with 12 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Hinkle was coming off a 53-point performance against the Windsor Express.
St. John’s are will return from the Christmas break with a four-game home-stand against the Windsor Express and KW Titans beginning on January 9th.

The St. John’s Edge won their eights game of the season against three losses Friday night and they did it the hard way.
The Edge did not give up. They were down 20 points in the third quarter but rallied to beat Windsor Express 103-99.
Charles Hinkle was the offensive leader scoring 52 points. That’s four points shy of the league record for points in a game by one player.
Carl English backed up Hinkle’s performance with 28 points of his own in the winning effort.
The Edge went 19 for 33 from three-point range (57.6 percent). Charles Hinkle lead The Edge going 12-for-18 from beyond the arc.
The lead changed 14 times during the game. The biggest lead held by the Edge was 10 points while the Express once lead by 20.
St. John’s are back in action on Sunday against the London Lightning, tip-off is scheduled for 3:30 island time.
