S A T U R D A Y 

Bay Roberts Coors Light are on to the Intermediate Softball semi-finals. They defeated Game on Gear 10-2 on Saturday to take the best of three series two games to one.

Chris Hussey strikes out ten as he picks up the victory. He allowed eight hits and didn’t walk a batter.

Johnny Doyle hit a three run homer in this game for the winners.

Shane Dobbin takes the loss. He gave up five hits, walked three hit one batter and recorded one strike out.

Andrew Kelly came in relief and pitched two thirds of an inning.

 

MJR Masonry remained alive and tied their best of three series with CBS Storm with a 1-0 decision.

Matt Bramwell gets the win and Adam Janes gets the save. Liam Myers is tagged with the loss.

Matt Bramwell of the winners and Travis Rideout were the only batters in this game to have two hits.

 

 

 

 

F R I D A Y 

CBC Junior Canadians are on to the semi=finals of the St. John’s Intermediate Fast Pitch Softball League. The Canadians moved on as they swept their best of three series with Roy Roy  with a 3-2 win Friday night at Lions Park.

Eric Healey gets the win as he struck out ten batters.  Healey gave up four hits and walked just two batters.

Joel Whelan is the losing pitcher. He was touched for six hits walked four and had seven strikeouts.

Healey and teammate Patrick O’Leary had two hits each.

Steve Joy had one hit for the losers and that was a solo home run.

 

LaFontaine Club BudLight grabbed a 1-0 series lead with PCI Roebothan McKay and Marshall with a 3-1 decision.

Johnny O’Reilly fans 11 batters as he gets the win. He walked two and gave up just five hits.

Matt Power takes the loss. Power gave up five hits, walked two and had five strike outs.

Sheldon O’Keefe hit a two run homer for the winners and Matthew O’Reilly a solo blast.

Two games are scheduled for Saturday at Lions.

The one o’clock game features Game on Gear and Bay Roberts with that series tied at a game apiece.

At 3 CBS Storm and MJR Masonry meet.  CBS up one game in that series.
